 British rock band formed in 1976 in Crawley.
Nature of the music band originally based on the assumptions of punk rock, but over time, the group has developed its own individual style. Currently, The Cure music is considered alternative rock.
Group represents a post punk, gothic rock, alternative and pop synthpop. Less commonly, it is regarded to some extent also as progressive rock.

 The Police is a rock band consisting of bassist and vocalist Sting, guitarist Andy Summers and drummer Stewart Copeland. The Group has become known all over the world in the early '80s playing rock music with elements of jazz, reggae and punk rock

  Their fifth and final album Synchronicity now, released in 1983, came to the first lists places in the United Kingdom and the United States selling over eight million albums.
The band broke up in the mid-80s, but reactivated in 2007 announcing a world tour lasting until September 2008. Until 2007 the band has sold over 50 million albums worldwide, including over 22 million in the United States.

Deep Purple - British rock group. The group was formed in Hertfordshire in 1968 initially called Roundabout the following members: Ritchie Blackmore, Jon Lord, Nick Simper, Ian Paice and Rod Evans. Band often turn on the element of classical music, blues rock, pop and progressive rock. Deep Purple was recorded in the book of Guinness World Records as "the loudest band in the world". So far, the band has sold over 100 million albums worldwide. One of the earliest and most influential hard rock bands.

Led Zeppelin - British band formed in London in 1968. Considered one of the most important bands in history. Their music is a combination of rock, folk and blues with a smaller, but noticeable, influences of rockabilly, reggae, soul, funk, classical music, Celtic, Indian, Arabic, Latin and country music. Throughout the life the formation did not change. After the death of drummer John Bonham in 1980 they finished activity.

Queen - British rock band formed in 1970 in London by Brian May, Roger Taylor and Freddie Mercury. Bassist John Deacon joined the group a year later.

Queen music has a variety of sounds, giving the obvious that it is difficult to assign to a particular style. Most of the songs bears the characteristics of the rock and its varieties (hard rock, progressive rock) and pop.

The Rolling Stones - rock band, formed in London in 1962. Musicians play rock and roll, blues rock and hard rock. The Group consists of outstanding musicians: Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood. Lead singer Mick Jagger is one of the best singers. In 2006, the singer was ranked 15 in the list of 100 best singers of all time.

  The Beatles - a rock band from Liverpool, was playing since 1960 to 1970. One of the most import_ant bands in rock history. The Beatles began as a band playing mostly rock and roll. During Sixties they started new trends in music, and their songs were a model for future bands. The Beatles started and stayed an integral part of the musical "British invasion" of the world, and especially in America, which was closed to foreign bands.
